As the nation is getting hooked on to India's first web-series on Netflix, Sacred Games, let's get ready to binge on a new one. And it comes from the same production house that gave us Sacred Games and also stars the same female lead in Radhika Apte. The catch is - Ghoul, the new series is out to scare the hell out of you, and the recently revealed first look poster is giving us one terrifying hint.

Ghoul is produced by Anurag Kashyap’s Phantom Films, along with Blumhouse Productions and Ivanhoe Pictures. It also marks the directorial debut of actor Patrick Graham. It will be a three episode series that also stars Manav Kaul along with Radhika Apte. The first poster has Radhika Apte holding a gun looking for something in the dark as a scary hand rests on her shoulder. Netflix, while tweeting the poster, also revealed that the series will premiere on August 24.

Jason Blum, the owner of the Blumhouse Productions, told Deadline, “It has been a great experience working closely with Netflix and our partners at Phantom and Ivanhoe to produce Ghoul. This is Blumhouse’s first foray into the horror genre in India and we’re excited to share this project with horror enthusiasts around the world.” Motwane, who is associated with Phantom Films, also revealed that Ghoul is an "an elevated horror narrative from India. First in class, edge-of-your-seat horror series that we are incredibly proud of.”
