RK Studios is all up for sale and the fans are pretty nostalgic about it. The studios started by late actor Raj Kapoor was like a milestone for the filmmakers. People in the industry have several memories related to the studio and some of the fondest memories are of its Ganeshotsav celebration. In 2016, one such happened that remained the fans' memories forever. Rishi Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor slapped and pushed the journalists!

In this throwback video, the Kapoor brothers are seen into pushing the media people who mobbed them during the visarjan procession. The video went viral like crazy and it created outrage. RK studios are known for its ganeshotsav ceremony which has been going on for over 6 decades. The Kapoors usually went themselves to immerse the Ganesh idol, in a procession, all the way from Chembur to sea near Shivaji Park in Dadar.

This particular year too, Randhir, Rishi Kapoor, Rajiv and Ranbir walked on the same route. However, they were hounded by the media people for 'bytes' in the heavy rain and they ended up getting slapped by the Kapoors. Watch videos here.

Rishi Kapoor denied the allegations of getting drunk on the auspicious occasion and even was quoted saying, "Ganpati visarjan by RK studios in Chembur is one of the biggest processions we’ve been doing for the last 64 years. There was a crowd following us and to top it, heavy rains. Then there was media hounding us into posing and giving bytes and getting in front of us while walking. When people don’t listen, what option do we have but to push? Even the police do the same." He even clarified that Ranbir did not slap or push even as he would not even hurt a fly!
