Ganesh Acharya Supports Nana Patekar; Alleges Tanushree Dutta Has Been Lying About The Whole 2008 Scandal

Tanushree Dutta has started a whole talking point about #MeToo movement in Bollywood, when she revisited her bad experience of working with veteran actor Nana Patekar. In an interview to Zoom TV's Planet Bollywood, Tanushree Dutta talked about the incident that happened on the sets of the film Horn OK Pleassss, where she was shooting for a special song. She had alleged that Nana Patekar had misbehaved with her during the shoot and even tried to buy her silence by making MNS workers vandalise her vehicle on the sets. Tanushree also revealed that the director, the producer and choreographer supported Nana instead. Later, she was replaced with Rakhi Sawant for the song. SHOCKING! When India Today got in touch with Ganesh Acharya, who was the choreographer for the song, he sided with Nana Patekar, saying that the actor was very sweet and he didn't misbehave with Tanushree in any way. Speaking to the website, he said, "First of all, it's a very old incident so I can't really recall everything very clearly. But it was a duet song as far as I remember. Something did happen that day because the shooting was also stalled for over three hours. There was some sort of misunderstanding."

Speaking more about the song's shoot, Ganesh revealed, "When I was called for rehearsal I was told that Nana ji was also there in the song. I don't have the agreement with me because that time we used to do it verbally. But that particular song didn't involve any kind of indecent step in the first place. It was pure dancing. That's all. He's (Nana Patekar) a very sweet person, he can never do that. Ganesh also denied that Nana Patekar has brought in goons to wreck havoc on the sets and damaged Tanushree Dutta's car. He added, "I can confirm that nothing this sort of happened. It's a wrong statement that Nana ji called members of some political party on set. It never happened."
