Taapsee Pannu's latest release Game Over has been in theatres for a week now and so far its journey has been a roller coaster ride at the Indian box office. Released in three languages - Tamil, Telugu and Hindi - the film is directed by Ashwin Saravanan and is a home invasion thriller about an avid gamer on a wheelchair and her fight against a mysterious entity. While Game Over garnered fantastic reviews from the critics all across India, it failed to storm the box office on day 1. Since the film wasn't high on promotions, there was hardly any buzz around Taapsee starrer and hence it suffered at the ticket windows. Game Over Box Office Collection Day 6: Taapsee Pannu's Thriller is Performing Fairly at the Ticket Windows, Earns Rs 8.08 Crore

Game Over hit the screens on June 14 along with four other Hindi films and has managed to perform well in comparison to other releases. Till now, the movie has raked in Rs 9.02 crore and that's a pretty okay figure considering the film has been hailed as one of best thrillers of recent times. Not to forget, Pannu's act has also been praised by one and all.

Talking about the collection, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to the microblogging site Twitter a while back and revealed the updated figures saying, "#GameOver Fri 97 lacs, Sat 1.94 cr, Sun 2.04 cr, Mon 1.14 cr, Tue 1.07 cr, Wed 92 lacs, Thu 94 lacs. Total: ₹ 9.02 cr. India biz. All versions... Language-wise breakup: #Hindi ₹ 3.70 cr, #Tamil ₹ 2.81 cr, #Telugu ₹ 2.51 cr." Game Over Box Office Collection Day 5: Taapsee Pannu Starrer Fares Decently on Tuesday, Mints Rs 7.16 Crore

Game Over is Taapsee's second release this year. Not too long ago, she was seen in Sujoy Ghosh's Badla which co-starred Amitabh Bachchan and Amrita Singh in the lead. Produced by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment, Badla turned out to be a blockbuster as it managed to impress the critics and the audience alike.
