Wait? What's Game of Thrones' Peter Dinklage Doing on the Sets of Salman Khan-Priyanka Chopra's Bharat? Here's the Truth!
Considering Dinklage is busy shooting for the final season of Game of Thrones, it is nigh impossible for the actor to come for Bharat.
Salman Khan's Race 3 may not have worked wonders at the office, but we all know it is a just a minor setback. He is collaborating again with director Ali Abbas Zafar for Bharat that is scheduled to release on Eid next year. Zafar had given Salman two mammoth hits in Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai and is all set to do a hattrick with this Bollywood adaptation of the Korean movie, An Ode to My Father. Priyanka Chopra is the main female lead, while Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Sunil Grover and Tabu also have important roles in the movie.
Just when we thought the cast could not get more interesting, a recent picture from the sets of Bharat shocked us about its new addition in the cast. Designer Ashley Rebello, who has worked in most of Salman's movies, posted a picture of who looks to be Peter Dinklage aka Game of Thrones's cult character, Tyrion Lannister. Wait, what the hell is happening? How come a multiple-time Emmy award winner has agreed to be a part of a Bollywood film? However, Ashley didn't make a fuss about who he is posing with, as he captioned the image simply as "Just see who I am with , on the sets of Bharat , #style #costumes #clothes #films , the game is on."

Considering Dinklage is busy shooting for the final season of Game of Thrones, it is nigh impossible for the actor to come for Bharat. Also when in today's era where a huge fuss is made over even a small casting development, it is surprising that no one from the Bharat team shouted from the rooftops that they got THE Peter Dinklage in their movie. But then, it would have been a huge thing if it was the real Dinklage.
Instead the actor in the picture is the Kashmiri Tariq Mir, who was 'discovered' by Imtiaz Ali during a shoot. Check the ring on his picture below with the one that Ashley has posted!
Mir used to work as an entertainer at various children's parties before he became famous as Lannister's Indian doppelganger. Interestingly, he only came to know about Peter Dinklage after his picture went viral. In an interview to Mumbai Mirror, Mir had this to say about his fame, "Now, I have become famous. It has given me and other actors in the Valley hope that we can accomplish big things. I recently played Tyrion in a short film and now it is my dream to meet him, I imitate his walk, his style... even his clothes. I feel proud every time I see him on Game Of Thrones. Tyrion Lannister is an inspiration for every dwarf."
Looks like his new-found fame has also bagged him a Salman Khan movie. As for his role in Bharat, it looks like he is a part of the circus troupe that Disha Patani's character, a trapeze artiste, belongs to.
