After enthralling us in Jolly LLB, Arshad Warsi and Saurabh Shukla return for more laughs in another social comedy, Fraud Saiyaan. Based on real-life incidents, Fraud Saiyaan is about a conman who dupes and marries several women before the consequences catch up to him. Prakash Jha, the director known for his political and social dramas like Mrityudand, Gangajal, Apharan, Raajneeti and Aarakshan, is producing the film, while Sourabh Shrivastava has directed Fraud Saiyaan. We are watching the film right now and here's what we think about the first half of it. Chamma Chamma Remake Out! Elli AvrRam Grooves on Flashier but Not Sexier Version of Urmila Matondkar's Song - Watch Video.
'Bhola is a fraudster in Uttar Pradesh who marries several well-off women. While visiting one of his wives in Benares, his secret is accidentally divulged to the uncle of his other wife. Unexpected circumstances make them go on a trip together, as Bhola is intent to dupe more women for their money and the uncle, whose identity is not known to Bhola, is hellbent on catching Bhola red-handed and give him to the authorities.
Arshad Warsi and Saurabh Shukla are two incredible actors who can make any farcical movie watchable, see Bhaiaji Superhit and Daas Dev for that. And yet there is a limit for what they can do. Fraud Saiyaan, an outdated comedy in today's times, is only made somewhat watchable because these two are trying their best to do so. The gags aren't exactly funny and there are just too many fart jokes to leave you annoyed. The female characters all behave like brainless bimbos. There are also a lot of loopholes and continuity issues with the script. Will Emraan Hashmi's Film Why Cheat India Beat Arshad Warsi's Fraud Saiyaan and Govinda's Rangeela Raja at the Box Office?
The interval arrives when Bhola discovers a former wife, whom he had long abandoned, has won the lottery and therefore he wants to return to her. Is this a trap or not, we hope we have the patience to bear what's happening in the second half."
