At this point, there is no surprise element in a controversial story, as soon as we say the words 'Bigg Boss contestant'. But what do we do? That's the job. So, here is the latest controversy created, one more time, by a Bigg Boss contestant. The name's not new in the controversy circuit - Ajaz Khan. The well-built actor has been booked by the Vashi police for allegedly assaulting a model and the director of a fashion show. A report by Hindustan Times details that Ajaz was to walk the ramp as the showstopper for a designer on Tuesday, at CIDCO Exhibition Centre, Vashi. Police says that Ajaz reached the venue by 7:30 PM and complained about not being treated properly and not being given a special room. The event was not supposed to begin before 8:30 PM. The actor was not invited by the organisers but the designer. Sopan Rakhunde, sub-inspector, told HT, “Khan was upset as he had not been given a separate changing room, and got into an argument with the show’s director. Khan and his bouncers then attacked him. Another model intervened to stop the fight but also got hurt,” Bigg Boss 7 Contestant Ajaz Khan Denies Being in Possession of Drugs; Says He Is Paying the Price for Speaking the Truth.
The director and the model sustained injuries and a case was registered under sections 143, 147, 149, 294, 323, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), not only against Ajaz but six others. The police also say that Ajaz is accused of filming models and singing lewd songs at the venue but they haven't checked the actor's phone yet so it can't be confirmed.
Although the big twist in the narrative comes from Ajaz Khan' statement. “It was a badly organised event, and the models were not provided food, water or AC. I heard some people arguing over the payments as well. The organisers then called bouncers and a fight broke out between them and the models. I tried to stop them," he told the news daily.
Ajaz even went on to deny any knowledge of his name being in the FIR. “I don’t think my name is in the FIR or else they [police] would have called me. It is irresponsible... to blame me. I am a punching bag. A model has taken a video of the incident and I have proof I was not involved,” he said.
Well, whose narrative do you think is more plausible? What the police had to say? Or what Ajaz said about trying to stop a brawl? Stay tuned to LatestLY for more updates.
