A source was quoted saying by Mumbai Mirror, "It’s not a biopic. It is a fictional story scripted by Anjum Rajabali. Farhan fell in love with it as soon as he heard it. Rakeysh has already started with the prep and Farhan will be training extensively in boxing. He is looking forward to working with Rakeysh again. The film should roll this year."
It was earlier speculated that he will be making an announcement about his next directorial which is Don 3.However, this turns out to be an entirely different film which we are truly excited about.
Meanwhile, even Shahid Kapoor is gearing up for a boxer biopic on Ngangom Dingko Singh from Manipur. He is the first and only Asian gold medallist boxer from India in the Bantamweight category and battled cancer. We wonder which one will hit the floors first!
