Farhan Akhtar Apologizes For Sharing an 'Inaccurate' Map of India While Protesting Against CAA and NRC-View Tweet

Farhan Akhtar has been at the receiving end of incessant trolling by the social media users regarding his latest tweet. The actor has been quite active in taking a bold stand against the violence projected by Delhi Police against the students of Jamia Millia Islamia University on Sunday. The actor urged everyone to join him to join him in a protest to be held on Thursday at August Kranti Maidan. However, while posting this he shared an 'inaccurate' map of India and got trolled for the same. However, in the latest tweet, he also apologized for the same. In a note, he wrote, "I recently posted a message about a protest meeting on December 19th with a repost of a graphic about the meeting. While I stand by the text, I have only just noticed that the map of India on the graphic is inaccurate. "Every inch and part of Kashmir is a part of India and I reject the inaccurate map. I regret not noticing this earlier. My sincerest apologies for the oversight."
