Tanushree Dutta created a stir in the Bollywood industry with her statements against actor Nana Patekar. She accused him of sexual harassment in 2009 while working on sets of Horn Ok Please. However, Nana Patekar refuted the allegations saying that he will soon take a legal action against the allegations. Amid all this, he was snapped with the Housefull 4 team who were off to Jaisalmer for the shoot, as shared by Farah Khan.
She posted, “Taking the “ not so private charter” flight to jaisalmer.@kritisanon A very excited @hegdepooja @rimpleandharpreet n 4 1 st time on insta Nana Patekar😂( where is @chunkypanday ) @aasifahmedofficial @adrianjacobsofficial n 1 innocent bystander.”
However, this post did go down well with the fans and they literally slammed her for ‘intentionally’ posting this picture with the 'accused' actor. Fans targeted her with comments like ‘posting a picture with the sexual assaulter right when the internet is buzzing on his scandal....now that is something!’, ‘Great! So here goes the #metoo movement in Bollywood, a mother pf three kids (two daughters) happily posting picture with a man who has been accused of misconduct with a woman. Not slamming you unnecessarily Farah but this is highly insensitive of you to post happily like this.’ And more comments like these. Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan: When Actors Blatantly Refused to Talk on #MeToo Movement in Bollywood
During the trailer launch of Thugs of Hindostan, Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan were asked to opine on this ongoing controversy. While Aamir said that the investigation should e started regarding this, Big B denied to comment. He said that his name is neither Tanushree nor Nana Patekar and hence closed the chapter then and there. What are your thoughts on the same?
