Director Ali Abbas Zafar confirmed the news that the 35-year-old is indeed not a part of Bharat anymore, and that the reason  is "special." Moments later, Twitter was flooded with posts like "Priyanka Chopra pregnant" to "it’s pregnancy, not marriage" as the reason behind the Bollywood star’s last-minute decision to back out of the film. Even Bollywood movie buffs woke up to a shocking news that Priyanka walked out of Bharat, this after the Indian beauty had exchanged pleasantries with movie’s lead and superstar actor Salman Khan, director Ali Abbas Zafar and to-be co-actress Disha Patani. After reading the initial unconfirmed reports,  many thought it to be mere rumours, however, Ali took to Twitter to confirm it officially.

He writes, “Yes Priyanka Chopra is no more part of @Bharat_TheFilm & and the reason is very very special , she told us in the Nick of time about her decision and we are very happy for her ... Team Bharat wishes @priyankachopra loads of love & happiness for life 😊😉😍”. Now, obviously, that’s the mother of all hints that Priyanka and Nick are all set to make their relationship official. And like any good friend, Ali and his Bharat team are happy for her. A Twitter user writes, “Is it marriage? Or is she pregnant?”, another one seemed a bit confused as their message reads, “well.. I'm sorry but I have a doubt Is she pregnant..... @priyankachopra”. Of course there are a number of moral policing tweets, such as this one – ‘Bhai wo pregnant ho gai hai..shadi krna jaroori hai uske liye..varna badnam ho jayegi’ and few filled with cuss words, “Marriage issue hi lgra nick ke saath, pregnant bhi ho sakti agar they going to marry soon. Magar jo bhi ho yeh akhand chutiyapa kiya hai Pc ne. Earlier, there were reports of Nick and Priyanka being in a no-strings attached relationship. According to Hollywood Life, one of Nick’s friend was quoted saying, "Nick is captivated by Priyanka, he loves older women and she's so international and sophisticated. She really turns him on. He says he's never met another woman like her. He's very caught up." In the same report on the website, a source was quoted saying, "Nick and Priyanka met through mutual friends and their attraction was immediately undeniable. Things are not too serious right now, but they are having amazing sex, but that's all it is, for now, no strings or commitments."

But it looks like it is no passing fling or no-strings attached relationship since Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are indeed quite serious about each other. They have met each other’s families and spent quality of time knowing one another. Their relationship has grown from strength to strength and if the they feel the time’s now for them to say ‘I do’ or even start a family, netizens should be happy for them and not be a prick about it.
