Richa Chadha is the kind of fabulous actress who'd grab your attention with just a few-minutes long role in Oye Lucky Lucky Oye. Over the years, we have seen her in some of the best roles chalked in Bollywood. And if all goes well, Hollywood might witness her talent soon. In an exclusive interview with LatestLY, Richa revealed that she does have plans to give the west a chance. Her boyfriend, Ali Fazal making a splash there and will soon be seen alongside Gal Gadot in the movie, Death On The Nile. Section 375 Actress Richa Chadha on the Box-Office Pressure: ‘It Entirely Depends on the Project’.

"I had known about it for a few months. He totally deserves it. He is still a very underrated actor in Bollywood. He was really good in Mirzapur. And he was equally good in Victoria and Abdul. I am very proud of him and very happy for him," Richa told us.

Ask her to comment on what is stopping from heading to Hollywood. "It takes time. I have been doing 2-3 films a year. When Ali (Fazal) had a break, he was able to audition and spend time in LA. I don't have that time. I might go and do it in Jan," she responded.

But then she dropped a revelation as her Bollywood commitments might be keeping her away from other opportunities. She said, "It is not like I haven't had offers. There was a character offer for me in this Netflix movie, Bird Box, the Sandra Bullock film. I had the opportunity to test for it. But it all comes down to availability." We believe she'd have bagged the role if she auditioned.

Richa added, "It was not the main role. The main role was always Sandra Bullock. But I was shooting for something here so it becomes complicated."

But it will take Hollywood a lot to sway Richa away from us. She remarked, "I don't want to do it just for the sake of it. I don't want to be in a film just for Indian representation. If Richa had the time, she says, she'll rather spend it with Ali. "I will be going to abroad. I will at least need two months with Bollywood," she said, quipping, Right now I don't have two months or otherwise, I'd have taken a holiday with my boyfriend."

We are certainly excited for Richa.  She was last seen in the courtroom-drama, Section 375. She has movies like Anubhav Sinha's Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai, Ashwini Iyer Tiwari's Panga, Inside Edge Season 2, and Shakeela biopic.
