The stand taken by Entertainment Journalists Guild of India (EJG) on Kangana Ranaut is still the same. Despite Ekta Kapoor issued an apology over Kangana’s behaviour at the song launch event, the EJG has remained firm with regards to boycott on Kangana. Ekta Kapoor is producing the film Judgementall Hai Kya under the banners Balaji Motion Pictures and Balaji Telefilms. Yesterday (July 10) Ekta had issued an apology but that has not really helped for the boycott on Kangana. EJG conducted a fraternity meet and post that issued another statement in which they have clarified that they will continue to support the upcoming flick Judgementall Hai Kya, however the boycott on Kangana Ranaut will continue to persist until she extends a formal apology. Despite Ekta Kapoor's Apology, Entertainment Journalists Guild of India Will Not Revoke ‘Ban on Kangana Ranaut’.

On the day when this whole fiasco happened, Entertainment Journalists Guild of India released a statement stating that Kangana Ranaut should apologise for her ‘rude’ act and it must be in written. Kangana’s sister put up a tweet saying, “Ek baat ka main vaada karti hoon, Kangana se apology toh nahin milegi, in bikau, nange, deshdrohi, desh ke dalal, libtard mediawalon ko, magar woh tumko dho dho kar sidha zaroor karegi ... just wait and watch, tumne galat insaan se maafi mangi hai ...” Kangana Ranaut Gets Banned by Media! Well, the Entertainment Journalists Guild of India are crystal clear with their stand. The entire controversy started when Kangana when 'intimidated' a entertainment reporter.  Whether Kangana Ranaut apologises or not for what she did, we’ll have to wait and watch.
