3 Idiots

This Rajkumar Hirani directed dramedy is one of the highest-grossing Indian movies. Aamir Khan, R Madhavan, Sharman Joshi star as engineering students in this one who all live life by the day. Or at learn to do so by the end of the film. The movie teaches the valuable lesson to not run after a degree but perfection in education. Also, follow your passion.

Udaan

This movie hits home for those who were pushed into engineering when they were least interested in. And there are many stories like these out there. A creative guy, who wants to become a writer, played by Rajat Barmecha, is forced by his ruthless father, played by Ronit Roy, to study engineering. This coming-of-age story will make you tear up. A brilliant masterpiece by Vikramaditya Motwane.
