For the generations that grew on the staple of Murder and Aashiq Banaya Aapne, Emraan Hashmi is one of the hottest actors to ever exist in the industry. The actor was popularly known as 'serial-kisser' back in the days simply because of the on-screen kisses in every movie he did. This is back when liplocks in movies were still a big deal. Today, Emraan is 'fed up' of the tag. In an interview with Times of India, the actor said, "I am done with it,"

The Cheat India actor further added, "I am letting it go now, because I am just fed up of it. Kissing is fine. I don’t have an issue with kissing on screen, but it’s what happens after that. Everyone puts the spotlight on whether I have a kiss in a film or not. My producers have been guilty of using the kissing scenes for promotions of films, but I feel things are different today," Emraan Hashmi Terms the Addition of 'Why' in Cheat India Title as 'Senseless'.

The actor also spoke about how the times have changed, better or worse. He quipped, "Youngsters, are okay with it. Call it a generation gap or anything, but I shut my ears on hearing half the things. It’s a culture shock for me! I fear for my son when he grows up,"

On the work front, Emraan Hashmi is waiting for the release of his new film Why Cheat India, formerly known as Cheat India. The movie focusses on the cheating scams in competitive exams that have rocked the nation on multiple occasions.
