Dream Girl Box Office Collection: Ayushmann Khurrana’s Comedy Drama Earns Rs 16.42 Crore on Day 2

Dream Girl starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Nushrat Bharucha in the lead, hit the silver screens on September 13. It has been two days since the movie has been released and it has shown some fantastic results at the box office. In two days the film has managed to earn Rs 26.47 crore and that is undoubtedly some great numbers. It is clear that Dream Girl is unstoppable! Dream Girl wasn’t the only film that released on September 13. It clashed with Akshaye Khanna and Richa Chadha starrer Section 375. But it was Ayushmann Khurrana’s comedy drama that won audiences hearts. On the opening day Dream Girl garnered Rs 10.05 crore and on the second day it earned Rs 16.42 crore. Well, the opening weekend for the Raaj Shaandilyaa directorial looks strong. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#DreamGirl witnesses superb growth on Day 2 [63.38%]... Circuits that were decent on Day 1 join the party on Day 2... Biz at metros, Tier-2, Tier-3 cities go on overdrive... Day 3 should surpass Day 2 by a margin... Fri 10.05 cr, Sat 16.42 cr. There are other big films which also released days before Dream Girl hit the big screens. It includes Sushant Singh Rajput starrer Chhichhore and Prabhas’ Saaho. But Dream Girl been a mid-range film, has performed extremely well in terms of box office collections.
