Dream Girl Box Office Collection: Ayushmann Khurrana’s Comedy Drama Earns Rs 104.70 Crore in 12 Days

It has been 12 days since Dream Girl has released and it still continues to have a strong hold at the box office. From fans to critics to industry members, everyone were impressed to see Ayushmann Khurrana as the Karamveer Singh and also as the fake girl Pooja (who plays a dream girl). Directed by Raaj Shaanilyaa, the film is ruling even this week as well at the ticket windows. It has managed to collect Rs 104.70 crore in these many days. Dream Girl collected Rs 10.05 crore on the opening day. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#DreamGirl shows no signs of slowing down... [Week 2] Fri 5.30 cr, Sat 9.10 cr, Sun 11.05 cr, Mon 3.75 cr, Tue 3.30 cr. Total: ₹ 104.70 cr. #India biz.” On entering Rs 100 crore club lead actress Nushrat Bharucha said in a statement, “It’s truly an outstanding feeling. The love and appreciation that the audience has given us is absolutely overwhelming. After Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety last year and Dream Girl this year, I truly feel blessed with all the support, Rs 100 crore for us is a big win.”

Ayushmann Khurrana who is elated seeing the response was quoted saying as, “Having another film in the Rs 100 crore club is obviously a nice moment for me though I never do films with the pressure to do Rs 100 crore every time I come on screen. As an artiste, I would then open myself up to making compromises and I never want to do that,” reports IANS. Dream Girl produced under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures hit the big screens on September 13.
