Dr Supratim Akaash Paul Talks on Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Journey of Post Pregnancy Transformation

Dr Supratim Akaash Paul is a global name when you think of cosmetology, body contouring, fitness, and nutrition and lifestyle and aesthetic medicine. We all know him for his art of transforming and in the medical fraternity, he is popularly known as a “sculptor”. All Bollywood celebrities swear by him and some even say Dr Paul is more precious to them than their Gucci, Ralph Lauren, Proenza Schouler and sometimes their boyfriends even.

Dr Paul specializes in post-maternity transformation. He says, “Pregnancy is a beautiful feeling for any woman, but is comes with a number of psychological and physiological challenges. Only if you stay under the guidance of a lifestyle medicine expert during pregnancy and post-pregnancy, can you glide through the journey with élan and ease.”

Kareena Kapoor Khan has been the toast of the country since she embarked on the journey of motherhood. She looked as glamorous while she was eight months pregnant and posing for the camera and now as she has again turned into Bollywood’s most desirable diva. Dr. Paul says, “Kareena is known to take up challenges and experiment with her looks time and again, whether it is losing more than 20kgs to flaunt a ripped look for Tashan when she weighed only 48kgs or for that matter her latest smoldering look in her upcoming film Good Newwz.”

During pregnancy Kareena indulged in her cravings completely. She did relish her pastas, pizzas, sweets, chocolates and all of it along with a nutritious balanced diet like any other pregnant woman would do. But post pregnancy losing fat, or getting back the same glow on the face and controlling hair fall is not an easy task. One very important part of this entire transformation journey is confidence, self belief and being consistent and dedicated.

Dr. Paul says, “Along with a balanced diet which does not have meat and is gluten free, a work out regime suiting her immediate bodily deficiencies, pilates, yoga and skin and hair regime including a few supplementations, hydro therapy and topical applications of tailor made serums. She does not go for facials and skin procedures.
