Dostana 2: Kartik Aaryan-Janhvi Kapoor’s Film to Be Helmed by Debutant Collin D’Cunha, Dharma Productions to Introduce a New Face

Since quite some time the speculations were going on that there would be a sequel to Dostana and here you go, the official announcement has finally been made. Dostana 2 is happening and it would feature Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead. But guess what, Dharma Productions is going to launch a new face as well in this movie and we just cannot wait to know who is it going to be. And this much-awaited sequel would be  helmed by debutant Collin D’Cunha. Kartik Aaryan-Janhvi Kapoor to Come Together for Dostana 2?

In an interview to Bombay Times, Karan Johar has spilled intriguing beans on Dostana 2. He has not just mentioned about the star cast but also said the film would be directed by someone new. He was quoted saying, “I am excited to take the Dostana franchise forward with Kartik and Janhvi, and can’t wait to create some desi boy-girl madness with them. This is Dharma Productions’ (his banner) first film with Kartik and we are looking forward to working with him. We will also be introducing a new male lead, who will join the incredible talent at our production house. The post has been shared in which he has mentioned the 'suitable boy' would soon be introduced. Talking about Dostana, the rom-com featured John Abraham, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Abhishek Bachchan in the lead.
