Ayushmann Khurrana's Bala has been in the news ever since its trailer released. The film which revolves around premature balding among men has a similar storyline to Ujda Chaman starring Sunny Singh and now both films are to clash at the box office. The trailer showed Ayushmann playing the role of a 30-something man who's balding and tries to find a solution for it. While women repel him due to his baldness, we even see him sporting a wig to impress Yami Gautam's character. Now, the first song from Bala is here. "Don't' Be Shy" is a recreated version of the song originally performed in the late 1990s by a female band called Rogue. The song has been remixed by Sachin-Jigar and sung by Badshah, Shalmali Kholgade and Gurdeep Mehendi. The video showcases Ayushmann in both his avatars in his bald look as well as with his regular hairstyle. The peppy number also has Bhumi Pednekar and Yami Gautam dancing with him and we can see Ayushmann trying to woo Yami's character as he ditches Bhumi to dance with her.

The peppy dance number adds itself to the list of remixes that have featured in recent films. Speaking about remixing the number, composer duo Sachin-Jigar told Mirror," The song is relevant to the narrative of the film and we redo it in our way. In fact, the bigger challenge was to keep the dignity and the legacy of the original song intact."

Bala which was earlier slated to release on November 15 has now been preponed to November 5. The film exchanged its release date with Tara Sutaria and Siddharth Malhotra starrer Marjaavaan.
