Veteran Bollywood singer Lata Mangeshkar, who was admitted to Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital a few weeks back and was reported to be in critical condition, was discharged from the hospital on Sunday. And the first thing that Lata Mangeshkar did after getting discharged from the hospital was, assure everyone that she was now hale and hearty and that she had returned home. She also clarified that she had been diagnosed with pneumonia and that her doctors preferred that she stay back and recover when she is completely healthy.

And soon wishes started pouring in for the singer's quick recovery and one amongst them was that of another veteran, Dilip Kumar. Lata Mangeshkar is one of the rare gems that India will always be proud of. Lata has bagged India's highest civilian honour Bharat Ratna in 2001, the Dadasaheb Phalke Award and even France's highest civilian award, Officer of the Legion of Honour.
