One of the big Independence day releases this year is going to be the multi-starrer, Mission Mangal. Starring Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Sharman Joshi, Nithya Menen and Kirti Kulhari in key roles, the film will take us through the journey of India's famed Mars Mission, Mangalyaan. The film's trailer released a couple of weeks ago and showed us the team behind this successful mission and how their determination resulted in a proud moment for India. Now the makers have released the film's first track, "Dil Mein Mars Hai"From Mission Mangal to Kabir Singh, Bollywood Inspired Memes Take Social Media by Storm!

The song shows us Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan and the entire team prepping up for the big task at hand while also managing their personal lives. The song is a peppy number composed by Amit Trivedi with lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya. It has been crooned by Benny Dayal & Vibha Saraf. While a film like Mission Mangal could have very well done without a song, that's not how Bollywood functions and hence there has to be a song about Mars in this album.

The makers had mentioned before the song's release that they were looking to create a track that mirrors the enthusiasm and undeterred spirit of the scientists while working on this mission. Speaking to Bombay Times, the film's director, Jagan Shakti said, "The song is more like an anthem that plays out at different junctures in the film. It almost binds the story together. Each scientist working on Mission Mangal has their own idea for this ambitious venture, but faces roadblocks while executing them.” Mission Mangal Trailer: Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan and Others Show What It Took India to Propel Mangalyaan to Mars (Watch Video).
