Taapsee Pannu has widened her fanbase just with the kind of films that she chose all these years. From gritty flicks like Pink and Naam Shabana to masala film like Judwaa 2, she fits perfectly into every genre. Yet again, she is back with a light-hearted movie with Saqib Saleem named Dil Jungglee. The movie directed by Aleya Sen, where Saqib plays a gym trainer cum an aspiring poet, while Taapsee is an English counsellor. The heartbroken heroine falls in love with the fitness freak hero only to part her ways with him. We see a twist in the story as the duo cross paths with each other after some years.

It is refreshing to see the versatile actress in a geeky avatar especially after fighter girl roles. Expressing about her try-outs with various genres, Taapsee speaks at the trailer launch event, “After ‘Judwaa 2’ this is one film I am doing on a light-hearted subject before getting into my zone of power-packed performance. As long as I am enjoying this, and my audience is supporting, I am fine with balancing both kinds of cinema.”

The fun- film is produced by the ‘Youngistaan’ actor Jackky Bhagnani along with Deepshikha Deshmukh and few more. Talking about his experience as a producer, he stated, “I think we are very fortunate to have a solo release, there is no clash with any film. Being a son of a producer, I know how difficult it is to bring the audience to the theatre. So, I am more than happy with the release. It makes a lot of difference because we can get more screens that help to reach a wider audience.” The trailer promises us a hilarious ride into the crazy couple’s love story so you might want to book your tickets for the film this valentine’s day.
