Has the friendship between Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt really gone kaput? For months, there have been talks of a cold war going on between Salman and Sanjay, ever since Dutt came out of Yerwada jail. It has been two years now, but we have not have had a single reunion moment between these. Reports say that Sanjay Dutt has been sending feelers to Salman for reconciliation, but younger Bhai is in no mood to budge. And a recent incident is proof that the cold war is not going to end anytime soon.

Sanjay Dutt recently celebrated his 59th birthday with a lavish party that was attended by many of his close friends and associates. However, one person missing was Salman Khan, who was invited to the party but chose to ignore the invitation. A source close to the development EXCLUSIVELY told us, "Salman was definitely on Dutt's guest-list. Sanjay waited till wee hours for Salman to arrive, but he didn't turn up. The reason for his no-show is not known, but Salman was definitely in the city and could have turned up for the party."

The reason for Salman and Sanjay's fallout is not yet confirmed, however, speculations are strife that Salman was not really happy with Ranbir Kapoor's casting as Dutt in Sanju. The superstar has been quite vocal about this, as he once infamously told to that media, that Dutt himself should have played the role. There is also the fact that there was no reference to Salman Khan in Sanju, even though he had stood with Sanjay even during the bleakest phase of his life. As per a report in Zoom, Salman has refused to watch the movie, in spite of repeated requests by Sanjay Dutt.

It looks like Baba Siddiqui needs to host an Iftaar party to make friends out of these two, like he did with Salman and Shah Rukh earlier.
