Kangana Ranaut has been picking on Alia Bhatt for quite some time now. From calling her and Ranbir Kapoor 'dumb' to expressing anger over Alia not attending Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi's premiere, Kangana has done it all. Recently, she even criticised Alia's performance in Gully Boy and called it 'mediocre. While Alia had a befitting reply for Kangana, now another actor has come in support of Alia. It is none other than her Highway co-star Randeep Hooda. The actor took to Twitter to praise Alia's performance and even hinted at Kangana Ranaut's comments. "Kangana Ranaut Disses Alia Bhatt’s Performance in Gully Boy; Calls It ‘Mediocre

On his Twitter post appreciating Alia, he wrote, "Dearest @aliaa08 I’m so glad you are not letting the opinions of very occasional actors and chronic victims affect you and your work .. kudos to you for your continued efforts to outdo yourself."

Well, we all know for whom the terms 'occasional actors' and 'chronic victim' are hinting at. Kangana has been brutal when it comes to speaking about Alia Bhatt in the past, even when she spoke about the Kalank actress being apolitical. Looking at Randeep's comment, we are sure Kangana will definitely respond. Alia Bhatt Has a Mature Response to Kangana Ranaut's Criticism for Her Gully Boy Performance.

Take a look at Randeep Hooda's tweet here:

For the uninitiated, Randeep's Tweet came in mainly after Kangana recently won a Best Actress poll on a Bollywood portal, beating Alia Bhatt's Gully Boy performance. When asked for a comment on the same, the actress said, "I am embarrassed...What is there to beat in Gully Boy Performance ....same snappy muh phat girl... Bollywood’s idea of a fiery girl, woman empowerment and good acting, spare me this embarrassment, please. Media has taken filmy kids love too far...stop pampering mediocre work or else bar will never be raised."

Alia Bhatt who is currently busy promoting her upcoming film, Kalank, was asked about Kangana's comments and she said, "I respect Kangana’s work a lot and I respect her opinion. If she feels a particular way she must have reason to feel that way. I would rather remember how much she had praised me after watching Raazi. And I’d just like to focus on my work. Maybe she will appreciate me again if I work hard enough."

Well, let's see how Kangana reacts to Randeep defending Alia Bhatt and especially hinting at her being a 'chronic victim'. All we can say is, Randeep, you better brace yourself for some badass response coming your way.
