Did Katrina Kaif Hint At NOT Playing a Thug in Thugs of Hindostan? - Watch Video

When the makers of Thugs of Hindostan revealed the first motion poster of Katrina Kaif as Suraiyya, people predicted that maybe she doesn't have much of a role to play in the movie. Considering how her look is similar to that of some of the item numbers that she has been previously a part of, the audience assumed if she'd be played an eye- candy in Thugs too. So, at the trailer launch of Thugs of Hindostan today, one of the journalists asked Katrina what her role is going to be like in the film. Thugs of Hindostan is NOT Anywhere Close to Pirates of the Caribbean, Clarifies Aamir Khan.

To which, the actress said, "I think each film has a different character. What I am doing in Thugs is very different from Tiger Zinda Hai, that was a completely separate film. That was an action film. In this film my role is less of the action and more of the other elements that are required of a film like this. So in terms of action training, there wasn't much for me to learn but there was a lot of other kinds of works we put into the role for this particular film." Watch the video here-

So is she hinting at not playing one of the Thugs? Because we can clearly see Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Fatima Sana Shaikh being a part of hardcore action-packed sequences in the trailer. Or is her role something even more bigger than that?
