For days there have been speculations that one of Bollywood most popular stars is shedding her spinster status in May. If the buzz is to be believed, Sonam Kapoor is likely to tie the knot with her longtime beau, Anand Ahuja in May. Many websites, particularly Filmfare, have already written a lot about her wedding, like she is getting married on May 7 and that it will happen in Mumbai itself. Recently Shraddha Kapoor posted a picture of hers getting ready for what she terms as the biggest haldi ceremony of the year. Twitterati has been speculating that it is about Sonam's wedding.

However, neither Sonam Kapoor nor her family members have put out any confirmation on this (well, so did Virat-Anushka until their day of marriage). Sonam Kapoor was asked about her marriage plans during the trailer launch of Veere Di Wedding, to which she casually avoided answering, saying all will be revealed at the right time.

Interestingly, during the same event, her co-star Kareena Kapoor threw a googly at the media, which we are still figuring out how to play. When the stars of the movie were asked who will get married next, Kareena took some time, and replied, "Sonam", before she burst out laughing. Sonam, meanwhile, gave a bewildered expression. We like to believe that there is no smoke without fire, and considering all the hue and cry over the wedding, there might be something to it. We do hope that for a change, Sonam Kapoor would actually tell her fans much in advance about her marriage plans.
