In a strange development, Anirban Blah, who was recently accused of seeking sexual favours from four women, had tried to commit suicide by trying to jump of Vashi Creek bridge. However, the Vashi police were tipped off his attempt and they managed to save him before anything drastic happened. Anirban, is the co-founder of Kwan, a celebrity management company whose clients include Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor. After the allegations came out, Anirban was asked to step down from the company. Did Kwan Co-Founder Anirban Blah Try to Attempt Suicide After Facing Sexual Harassment Allegations?
Interestingly, the police had been alerted of the attempt by the publication house, Times of India, after an employee of their company got a copy of his suicide note. Though usually in such cases, the police files a case against the person for trying to attempt suicide, in Blah's case, it was avoided. Senior police inspector Anil Deshmukh from Vashi police station told TOI, "The traffic police handed him to us but we haven't charged him as he has not done any (suicidal) act. He told us that he had come for a walk at the bridge. After his family reached, we handed him over to them." With such contradicting stories, and the fact that Blah has sent a copy of his suicide note to a newspaper, make some Twitter users feel that the whole attempt was faked by Anirban to portray himself as innocent in the charges levelled against him. Is KWAN Entertainment LYING about Anirban Das Blah Being Ousted From The Company?

2 close friends committed suicide. I hv spoken 2my counsellor about it. You don’t write an email 2 TOI & 2police few hours before u commit suicide, giving them sufficient time 2 save u. Then he says he is bipolar, he dosent know what his alter ego does. BS #AnirbanBlah

I am not buying this #anirbanblah suicide story. Too well scripted. Trying to save KWAN from exodus. Have you ever heard a suicide note that tells where and how you are going to end your life!! And on top of it, the timing of it all. It’s a staged drama.

Suicide Note reached ToI before the actual suicide. Interesting turn of events in #Kwan founder #AnirbanBlah's case. #MeToo https://t.co/ZHdq9gWXtd

Weird. The @TimesOfIndia receives @AnirbanBlah’s ‘suicide note’ hours before his ‘suicide attempt’ over #MeToo, newspaper tips off police, who then rescue him. https://t.co/SBUPGbUMwn

#AnirbanBlah case is doubtful. From both sides.
Why #MeTooIndia girls didn't complain earlier?
Why this guy's suicide note was so elaborate and perfect?
There's something wrong. Definitely!#MeToo will claim more lives by tension rather than judicial orders.

WHAT! #AnirbanBlah had the wherewithal to write a suicide note to the press BEFORE he tried to jump off Vashi bridge, rescued by the police who were tipped off by @timesofindia but no time to take stock of his unacceptable actions towards women over the years? #Kwan believe this! https://t.co/Y0az59UGJz

Here's the copy of the suicide note that a TOI employee has claimed to have received from Anirban -"
"Without trying to justify any of my actions, I just want to say that I have tried to be the best person I can be. I didn't have the strength to cope with what happened to me as a child in a healthy way. I never was able to separate sex from power, to make it a part of love, and somewhere along the way one part of me turned into a monster.
Maybe ... I am bipolar. Because I know how much love I have to give. To my friends and to my family to everyone. I have tried to be the best friend I can and the best colleague and the best person I can. But unfortunately the monster inside me keeps resurfacing and I've tried to bury him and kill him but I can't.
I wasn't good enough. And I am the only one to blame ... I know no one believes me, but that monster was a part of me, and there was goodness and kindness in me.
To anyone I may have hurt, I am sorry. This isn't revenge for you. This is justice.
You should just know that the stories you hear are worse than the truth but whatever the truth, it still makes me a monster in my own eyes. Know though that this monster has this part of him that is pure still, and that my love for you is so great that I cannot forgive myself the hurt I have caused you. There are no justifications. You deserved better.
You will find my body somewhere near Vashi creek. My licence will be with me as identification plus my tattoo. I am wearing blue jeans and a t shirt. The monster inside me has won against the other part of me for too long, it's time to kill it once and for all."
So what do you think readers? Was the suicide attempt genuine? Or was it a ploy to gain sympathy? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
