Are they dating or not? That's the question every Bollywood fan is asking after the frequent sightings of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor together. They are costars in the upcoming fantasy drama, Brahmastra, and Alia has revealed quite a few times of her crush on Kapoor Jr.  Recently they attended Sonam Kapoor's wedding reception together, and even posed happily for the cameras. So are they a couple now?

Sadly, don't expect an answer from either Alia or Ranbir anytime soon, for both are fiercely private about their life. Alia has been like that from the start, while Ranbir had tasted fire when both his previous relationships (Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif) went kaput. However, a certain gesture bu Alia's sister, Shaheen, is adding more fuel to the fire for the rumourmongers.

If that doesn't add weight to the rumours of them dating, then Shaheen's emoji for the picture will definitely do so. She put up a heart with an arrow through it, that is definitely the symbol for lovestruck!

However, there are also talks that the whole romantic angle between Ranbir and Alia is an act put up to promote their upcoming movie. Apparently there is a rumour that the fans were not buying the pairing, so the PR spiced it up with the addition of a 'fake' romance. Since the couple themselves are not talking, it is all a matter of conjecture!
