Aamir Khan is currently busy finding the right script for his next, especially after the huge debacle of Thugs of Hindostan. Though we read reports about him working on the mythological drama, Mahabharat and even considering a biopic on Osho, recent reports have a different tale to tell. As per an article by Rajeev Masand for Open magazine, the actor is keen on stepping into Tom Hanks' shoes for the Indian remake of his Oscar-winning movie, Forrest Gump. While there's no official confirmation about the same, recent revelations by the actor can confirm it very well. In one of his media interactions for Rubaru Roshni, Aamir revealed details about his next project and that's definitely not Mahabharat. When asked to dish out some details about the next project, the PK actor said, "This time I have four good scripts! I don't know which one will be the exact one, as I haven't 100per cent zeroed in on that but I'll know within a month. Most probably I'll be producing it." Going further he even revealed his next requires him to look lean. "I'll start preparing for my next because I have to look slim and lean. There are two films (in consideration) and in both of then I have to look lean," he said. Rubaru Roshni: Aamir Khan's Film is an Experience of a Lifetime, Believes Twitterati.
Now the ones who have seen Forrest Gump would know the details about Hanks' look in the film. It definitely fits in the description that Aamir narrated above. The story is very special and knowing the actor and his fascination for performance-oriented roles, it's no brainer that he'll end up picking it eventually. While the original is a classic film, we wait to see if Mr Khan is able to weave the same magic with its Indian adaptation.
