Dia Mirza-Sahil Sangha Have Separated, But So Did Judgementall Hai Kya Writer Kanika Dhillon-Prakash Kovelamudi, And There’s a Connection

On August 1, Bollywood actress Dia Mirza and her husband Sahil Sangha issued a joint statement announcing about their separation. The couple, who have been married for almost five years now, have ‘mutually decided’ to part ways. Besides the shocking separation news of Dia-Sahil, there’s another Bollywood couple who have hit splitsville, already. Judgementall Hai Kya writer-director duo, Kanika Dhillon and her husband Prakash Kovelamudi, have ended their marriage. Kanika Dhillon has written scripts for Manmarziyaan and Kedarnath. She has even penned down three novels - Bombay Duck is a Fish, Shiva and the Rise of the Shadows and The Dance of Durga. Prakash Kovelamudi is widely known for directing Telugu films. The couple who tied the knot in 2014 confirmed to Mirror, “Yes, we did split but not during Judgementall Hai Kya. It happened two years ago, much before the cameras rolled on the film.” They even stated that they separated by mutual consent and are still friends. The report also mentioned that trouble in Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha’s paradise started a month ago. The reason cited behind it is the ‘growing friendship’ between Sahil Sangha and Kanika Dhillon, told a source to the tabloid. Not just that, even Dia Mirza and her Kaafir co-star Mohit Raina are also been linked with each other. Dia and Sahil did not mention the reason behind the separation, but did state that they would not be commenting any further on this matter.
