It's quite unreal and unusual for Bollywood to release a film's teaser a year in advance. While the notion is quite popular in Hollywood and the practise is pretty usual, Kangana Ranaut is determined to introduce the trend in B-town. How should you ask? Well, by releasing the teaser of her next action entertainer, Dhaakad. The movie was recently announced as her next big project after Judgemental Hai Kya and just days after this crucial announcement, we are introduced with its first teaser. 

This 45-seconds long footage shows Kangana's bloody avatar who's determined to take on her enemies. Yes, her look resembles Angelina Jolie from Tomb Raider but slightly more vigorous or robust. This is Kangana's first attempt with this genre and she's determined to make a mark for herself. While an action entertainer revolving around a female protagonist is still an alien concept in Bollywood, Kangana being herself has vowed to bring this much-needed change. We are slightly disappointed with the teaser's background music but we'll hold back our final verdict till the film's release.

Dhaakad is slated to release on Diwali 2020 and clash with Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha. Speaking about her action scenes and the artillery used in them, director Razy Ghai said, “Being an army kid, I have a lot of knowledge about weapons. I thought it was necessary to use a real gun as you can easily make out (a fake one) on screen. We are already envisioning this as another epic movie in the making, what about you?
