Post the success of Padmaavat, there has been no word on Deepika Padukone's next outing on the silver screen. The dimpled actress was supposed to star in Vishal Bhardwaj's mafia drama opposite Irrfan Khan. However, due to Irrfan's health issues, the film has been delayed. So, what's next for DP? It's a superhero film! If we go by the report in Filmfare, the gorgeous diva will be next seen in a mega superhero film which will be on the lines of Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman! This is for the first time that Bollywood will get it's first female superhero movie.

A source close to the Piku actress told the publication,"After going through several scripts, Deepika has finally locked one and this is a massive superhero film. Deepika will have various action scenes which fans haven’t seen her doing before. The untitled film will be produced by Fox Star and she’s quite excited about it already." She will also indulge in some high octane action sequences for this much-ambitious project.

After giving several months solely to Sanjay Leela Bhansali's period drama, Ms Padukone was looking for the apt projects to live up to her expectations. We guess, she has finally found something of her liking and we are too excited to watch her fight the goons on the big screen. The leggy sass will surely do justice to her role as the superhero.

Recently, Deepika's love interest Ranveer Singh too got his hands on one of the much loved Hollywood films- Deadpool 2. He dubbed for Ryan Reynolds for the Hindi version of the movie. Coming back to Deepika, are you excited to watch her sizzle?
