Yes, as per recent reports, DP is all set to star in a biopic on the life of acid attack survivor Lakshmi Agarwal. Lakshmi was attacked by a man whose proposal she had rejected. The movie will revolve around her journey and how she goes on to start an NGO to help other victims of this heinous crime. Deepika was so impressed with its script that she decided to co-produce it. The actress has reportedly set up her own production house and is keen to produce content-driven films.
