Deepika Padukone recently courted controversy after she was snapped outside director Luv Ranjan's office with Ranbir Kapoor sparking rumours that she may be starring in his next. This came as a shock to fans given that Ranjan has been accused of sexual harassment by a woman during the MeToo movement. Recently, Deepika graced the cover of Vogue magazine for the August issue and it was a treat to see the actress in a no-makeup look for it. In the interview, after being asked if she would work with someone who has been accused of sexual harassment, Deepika responded saying, "No! I would not." Many fans of the star are now taking this as her confirmation that she won't be a part of the Luv Ranjan project. Given that the actress is one of the most successful leading ladies in Bollywood today, fans want her to take a strong stand on these matters.
After Tanushree Dutta came forward as a force in bringing the MeToo movement in Bollywood, an actress alleged that director Luv Ranjan had asked her to strip when she went to audition for a movie in 2010.
