Deepika Padukone is all set to turn Ranveer Singh's reel life in Kabir Khan's next big project '83. It's interesting to see this real-life jodi turn reel for a project that's looking so exciting and intriguing already. The project that revolves around India's historic World Cup win against West Indies in 1983 will see Ranveer essay the role of Kapil Dev. And Deepika will play his wife, Romi Dev. It was only recently when DP confirmed this big news and shared her excitement to be a part of this glorious tale. Confirmed! Deepika Padukone will Play Ranveer Singh's Wife in Kabir Khan's '83.

The Padmaavat actress is currently in London with Ranveer and his reel squad shooting for the film's first schedule. Ranveer took to his Instagram account to share the happy news with his fans and announce her inclusion in his team. After Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat, this is DeepVeer's fourth collaboration and no points for guessing if it will yield as big result as their previous outings.  Cannes 2019: We Agree With You Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone Looks Like a Complete 'BAWSE' in This Striped Pantsuit.

Deepika recently wrapped the shooting of Meghna Gulzar's Chhapaak before flying off to the UK capital for '83. Speaking about Kabir Khan's new project, Deepika in her conversation with Bombay Times said, "I am so glad that Kabir came to me with it. This happened a couple of months ago when he was still casting the boys for the film. It’s just that I was busy with Chhappak (her production debut, which wrapped up recently) and we were waiting for the right moment to make the announcement." Well, her inclusion has definitely pumped up our excitement and we can't wait to see them shine on the big screen. '83 will hit the screens on April 10, 2020.
