After Padmaavat tasted the sweet taste of success, all the eyes are now set upon Deepika Padukone's next film. It has been too long since we saw DP in any different project, hence her next outing is much- awaited. Just a day ago, there were strong rumors that Deepu's next film will be with Irrfan Khan named 'Rani', that will be directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. While the cast and the director has been confirmed, the movie will NOT will be called as 'Rani', says Bhardwaj sternly! The filmmaker was stunned at the reports of the title of his film and took Twitter to quash all the rumors for once and all.

The Omkara director tweeted, "So amusing to find out that everyone except me knows the title of my upcoming film! This is absolutely false news, the movie is not titled 'Rani' and it is not based on Sapna Didi's life.” Along with this tweet, the renowned music composer- director also attached a string of articles that carried this piece of news!

Earlier, talking about being a part of this film, Ms Padukone said in an interview, "It's a film that, Vishal sir had given me the book almost two years ago and he wanted me to read that chapter. I read the whole book and of course, I read that chapter. It stayed with me. I went back to him saying that I was excited to do this film. At that point, he kind of moved on and was doing something else. It changed hands a couple of times, somebody else was meant to direct it and then, I think destiny just had a role to play in it and he's come back.”

While Irrfan Khan has already worked with Bhardwaj in the film 'Haider', this will be the first time where we will see the dimpled actress collaborate with the maker. On the other hand, it will be a reunion for Irrfan and Deepika after their critically acclaimed Shoojit Sircar film 'Piku'. Coming back to the film, we can say that Vishal Bhardwaj has something totally fresh to offer and one should stop making speculations about it!
