Sharing her bald pic on Instagram, she said, "Hello world! That’s a new me with the old self! Was getting tired of the extensions, so this is how it is and it’s so liberating in every sense of the word, so much so that I don’t have to duck the shower while bathing or while picking up the soap! The battle against cancer wasn't obviously easy but we quite like how Ayushmann and Tahira stood by each other and supported each other in such a tough time. In fact, in an interview with IANS earlier, Ayushmann had revealed how this year was nothing short of a roller coaster ride for him. He had said, "I had two back-to-back films coming and I was going through a professional high and I was wondering life is so beautiful and suddenly this happened, so it is a great leveller. Life is a great leveller," he said. "I was giving her my time, of course. In the morning I was promoting my films, in the nights I was with her in the hospital... It is not easy," he added.
