In an interview with Hindustan Times, Siddhant revealed, "It was Deepika who said, 'Oh! He is just a boy. He is so cute'," Siddhant told Hindustan Times. He also added, "People were expecting someone huge. You know like someone around 28. When they saw me in real they were quite astonished. Also, they thought I am a real rapper." Siddhant was previously a part of a web series called, Inside Edge. For now, he hasn't signed any new films as yet but we are sure he has already been offered plenty of scripts after Gully Boy. Buzz is that the actor has been roped in as a lead for Excel Entertainment's next film. There hasn't been an official confirmation on the same yet but it is possible that given Siddhant's popularity, the makers would be willing to cast him in a much meatier role.
