Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif never really shared a very cordial relationship. There's no denying, the binary of the two is a bitter one. For the uninitiated, it all started when Deepika’s ex-boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor started dating Katrina and allegedly cheated on her because of the latter. Ever since then, the actors’ equation had soured. However, now it seems like Deepika does not carry any baggage anymore and wishes to be friends with Katrina. Yes, you read that right. Recently, Deepika also invited Kat for her wedding reception, While there were reports doing the rounds after Deepika, in Neha dhupia's show had said, that she will not be inviting Katrina for her wedding. During the 'Say It Or Strip It" segment, Deepika, on being asked if she would invite Katrina to her wedding, had said, "No," without any hesitation. However, Kat attended DeepVeer's (as fans fondly call the newlyweds Ranveer and Deepika) wedding reception. Yes, in fact, Ranveer Singh had reportedly invited Katrina personally to their reception on December 1, 2018. Katrina Kaif looked gorgeous in a beige saree at the wedding reception.

Speaking of DeepVeer's wedding, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone tied the knot on December 14 (in a traditional Konkani ceremony) and December 15 (as per Sikh traditions) at Casta Diva Resort and Spa in Lake Como, Italy. Their wedding took place at the picturesque Villa Del Belbianello with around 30-40 guests in attendance. Though the newlyweds did not invite any Bollywood celebrity to their wedding, the couple threw a wedding receptions for their friends from the tinsel town. Watch this space for further updates.
