Deepika Padukone is currently busy with the promotions of her upcoming film Chhapaak. The film's trailer released in the first week of December and left everyone stunned with its hard-hitting content and her stellar performance. Ahead of the film's release on January 10, the actress has been promoting it extensively. Recently, Deepika appeared on the popular dance reality show Dance+. The actress looked stunning in a vermillion dress during her appearance on the show. After watching the special performances dedicated to her, Deepika could not hold back her tears and got emotional on the show. In a video that's surfaced online, Deepika can be seen watching the performance closely and towards the end, she gets so emotional that she covers her face with her hands and begins to cry.

The actress even thanked the contestants later and said, "I've been to so many shows but what I am feeling today, I cannot share it in words. I’ll just say it from my heart, thank you so much."

It has been a long wait for Deepika's fans considering her last release was Padmaavat. As for Chhapaak, the film also stars Vikrant Massey in a lead role and from the film's first song "Nok-Jhok", it does look like the duo have given their best to this film. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film is all set to clash with Ajay Devgn's Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior which also releases on January 10, 2020.
