Since the couple returned from the New Year celebration in Maldives, there have been rumors of their engagement. Now that DP is free from 'Padmaavat' stress, she finally decided to take up this issue in her hands and set the records straight.

So, all those who are dreaming about DeepVeer's engagement, your dreams might shatter after her response to the allegations. In Neha Dhupia's BFF With Vogue chat show, the dimpled actress simply said, "“I was not engaged.” You might love to know that Neha instantly pointed out the tan on DP's finger which clearly indicates that she did wear a ring! What's is with this secrecy, we wonder!

However, B-town's Mastani further clarified, "There's no such plan anytime soon. I'm not pregnant, I'm not having a baby, I'm not engaged and I'm not married. And I'm not even planning to get married anytime soon.” Here goes all the hope of seeing another Sabyasachi wedding in vain! On a brighter side, Ranveer and Deepika are currently basking in the glory of Padmaavat's positive reviews, so let them be!

Professionally, Ranveer has already started shooting for Zoya Akhtar helmed 'Gully Boy' opposite Alia Bhatt. Deepika Padukone will reportedly be seen in a movie opposite her Piku co-actor Irrfan Khan.
