Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's South Indian Bengaluru reception teamed with some exotic South Asian cuisine was nirvana for all those who dote these delicacies. The couple has been very particular when it comes to choosing the ideal location, perfect setting, impeccable themes and food that goes along with all the preparation. Since the Bengaluru reception was majorly held for Deepika's relatives, it only made sense to keep delicacies that would go well with their palette.
As per a tweet by DP's super active and accurate fan club, it has been revealed that the guests were showered with coconut water and shikanji. This, we all know, is a South Indian tradition that is followed when welcoming the guests. Apart from that deet, another one that they revealed was that the reception had four types of curd rice! This is besides all the other South Indian exotic dishes. Not to mention they did keep a separate counter for Vietnamese, Italian, Chinese and Thai too.
