Bollywood singer Bhoomi Trivedi unmasking a middle man trying to trap her into a fake Instagram followers ring made big headlines. She discovered that a man was running a fake social media account under her name and approaching various people with the lure of gaining social media followers. Last week, the Mumbai Police caught hold of this imposter, only to discover that this was a huge racket. The report also mentioned how the SIT jas a list of almost 100  companies selling fake followers and fake social media activities like retweets, likes, view, subscriptions, comments etc.' In fact, the SIT has also written to the French Government for details of one of the companies FollowersKart, which is said to be one of the main companies accused of the scam.
