While South actor Venkatesh Daggubati has been roped in to play the lead in the Telugu remake of Ajay Devgn's film, it will be bankrolled by producer Suresh Babu. On Wednesday (June 5) when Suresh Productions completed 55 years, the producer Suresh Babu, who is currently working with Venkatesh Daggubati and Naga Chaitanya for their forthcoming film Venky Mama, spoke to the media about the banner's upcoming projects. Suresh Babu told the reporters, "We recently acquired the Telugu remake rights of De De Pyaar De and it will star Venkatesh. We also have films planned with Tharun Bhascker and Trinadha Rao with Venkatesh." On the other hand, Suresh Babu announced two more films with his brother Venkatesh Daggubati. De De Pyaar De features Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles. The trailer of the film released earlier in April. De De Pyaar De marks Akiv Ali's directorial debut. Bankrolled by Luv Ranjan and Bhushan Kumar, De De Pyaar De is a contemporary rom-com with a quirky take on urban relationships.
