Daler Mehndi turns 52 today. The popular singer was born on 18 August, 1967 as Daler Singh. Hailing from Patna, the singer became a known face in the music industry for his energetic vibe and songs. His Punjabi songs still work as a benchmark for those who aim to make the similar music from the genre. Not just his music, but his personality made him stand out of the crowd. The singer-songwriter did not start his career in the music industry with a Bollywood movie. In fact, it was his first ever album with Magnasound that got him on the peak of success. His 1995 pop song "Bola Ta Ra Ra" was a smashing hit, selling over 20 units. The high-on-energy song remains the biggest selling non-film music Indian pop album till date.

Followed by this ultra popular entry in the music world were his another hits.
