Getting offended by something that is shown in films is common in India. The same happened with Dabangg 3's song Hud hud. A religious group who calls themselves Hindu Janajagruti Samiti raised an objection against certain scenes in the song which according to them hurts Hindu sentiments. One of them was where sages were dancing 'inappropriately' with Salman in the song. Guess to avoid any mishaps during release, the makers decided to edit out all those scenes that hurt sentiments. Speaking about the controversy, Salman Khan had said during the song launch of Munna Badnaam, "Aisi controversy toh aati jaati rehti hai. It ('Hud hud Dabangg') is our song since the beginning. People are just trying to get two minutes of fame by linking themselves with us. They try to gain some publicity out of it and they get it too. Fans also support them. So, it's good. I don't have any issues with it." He has got a point there.
