Another controversy has hit the makers of Dabangg 3 starring Salman Khan-Sonakshi Sinha in the lead. The film has been in the news since it's announcement due to various reasons. The latest one surrounds around the certification of the flick. In the latest development, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has urged the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to deny the certification to the film. According to this group, the title track "hud hud song" and the dance steps given to the actors playing sages into it , have allegedly 'hurt Hindu sentiments.' The organiser of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti for Maharashtra and Jharkhand States,Sunil Ghanwat questioned the choreography of the title track. He posed the question, "Sadhus have been shown dancing with Salman Khan in a hideous and objectionable manner. As a result, the religious sentiments of all Hindus have been hurt. The way in which Salman Khan has degraded Sages, will he dare to show Mulla-Maulavi or Father-Bishop dancing similarly?"

There has been no reply or official statement in reaction this demand. However, this is not the first time that the film got engulfed into a religious controversy. Earlier, the makers were accused of hurting the sentiments as they covered the 'shivlings' with wooden planks while shooting for the film. The superstar had justified that they were just protecting it and not causing any harm. It has to be seen now whether the Bollywood star puts out another official statement addressing this brand new issue or chooses to keep mum on the topic.
Speaking of the film, the Prabhudheva directorial has an ensemble cast including Sonakshi Sinha, Arbaaz Khan, Mahie Gill, Kiccha Sudeep, Mahesh Manjrekar to name a few. It also stars debutante and Mahesh Manjrekar's real-life daughter, Saiee Manjrekar who plays Chulbul Pandey's ex-lover. The action entertainer is slated to release on 20 December 2019.
