Dabangg 3 has been trying to make it count for the last three days. A lot was resting on the first Monday collection as that will dictate what the film earns by the end of it all. But the fourth day at the box office didn't bring much charming news. A drop of 50% is always expected on the fourth Monday vis-a-vis Friday, but Dabangg 3 has gone further down. You have to give it to Salman Khan to make so much money despite such a sub-par trending. Last year, Shah Rukh Khan's Zero couldn't even manage even that much. In four days, Dabangg 3 has managed to inch much closer to the Rs 100 crore mark despite the CAA protests nationwide and it is all because of him.

Trade is hopeful that Christmas can bring in good cheer for the film as it has been seen to turn things around for a lot of movies. Dabangg 3 has to make it count tomorrow because, on Friday, Good Newwz is releasing which has a great buzz around it. Akshay Kumar had a great year and he would like to end the year on a big note too. Trade has now pinned their hopes on Good Newwz to sail the industry through.
