Dabangg 3 has been badly affected by the CAA protests at many places. In fact, the Hindi heartland which is the backdrop of the film. stayed away from watching the film initially. But after rather slow first two days, Sunday picked up in a huge way. As per early estimates, the film earned a massive Rs 30-31 crore yesterday. If that is the case, the film has earned a good Rs 79.50 crore. Now for a film which has been struggling in the first two days, the numbers are really good for an opening weekend. Sonakshi Sinha Says Anti-CAA Stir More Important Than ‘Dabangg 3’ Earnings
A Rs 24.5 crore on the first day is one of the lowest openings for a Salman Khan in the last couple of years. But that happened because people were busy protesting against CAA out on the streets. Taran Adarsh had informed yesterday through his tweet that the film has lost Rs 7-9 crore in two days. When that is the scenario, every peak in the collection will matter to Dabangg 3.

Dabangg 3 may not have earned Rs 100 crore or more on its first weekend as was predicted but it has still done second-best numbers after Saaho this year in the opening weekend. There are chances for the film to earn more in the coming days as there's Christmas but for that, the film has to work on its first Monday.
